How to register your website address

Is your name available?

The first step in purchasing your website domain name is determining if the name is available.  Obviously visiting the address you want will show if there is a page there or not.  If you find a “Parked Page” that indicates someone owns the name, a visit to  WHOIS will tell you who has purchased it. You may be able to purchase the domain name through a bargaining process.  Otherwise, pick a new name and search again. After you determine the name, visit a name reseller, such as GoDaddy, to purchase your name. For further help, follow this quick tutorial:
