Hershey Park & ZooAmerica – Social media done right
Last week the remains of Hurricane Irene pushed out and Tropical Storm Lee camped over Central Pennsylvania (#cenpaflood). Â As a result, many homes, businesses, and roads were damaged. Â Among those hit hardest is Hershey Park and their zoo attraction, ZooAmerica. Â Too often I see examples of what not to do in social media, but in this storm, I found one of the best examples of what to do.

Lessons from @treypennington
This past weekend I lost a dear friend, Trey Pennington. Â Trey and I first connected in the early days of Twitter. Â We were to meet at Extreme Business Makeovers 2009, but circumstances prevented this from happening. Â We postponed until the following year, but then my own circumstances prevented our in-person encounter. Â All the while, we’ve connected across social media.

How to tweak your Google+ Profile Hovercard
Google Plus, like Facebook, shows hovercards as a snapshot of the user’s information. In Google’s case, it is showcasing employment history by default.
If you want to change that hovercard information into something else, such as your website address and slogan, it is possible.
