Facebook tweaked the events app to now include repeat events. Thankfully they did not eliminate some of the work of inviting others. This should be helpful enough to merely copy the details of the event but not to the point where spammers can get much help entering all the guest names in. This seems like a decent update.
Create an event. In the top right corner of the published event, select repeat event.
