# Update Your WordPress Website From Your Mobile Phone

Have you ever wanted to post something quickly to your WordPress website while on the go? WordPress has a good [mobile app](http://wordpress.org/extend/mobile/ "WordPress mobile") available on most mobile operating systems. It may not be ideal for writing lengthy posts unless on a tablet with a keyboard, but is decent at posting pictures, or writing drafts of topics. I also expect more adoption of the mobile app as [WordPress 3.6](http://make.wordpress.org/core/version-3-6-project-schedule/ "WordPress 3.6") integrated more[ post\_formats](http://codex.wordpress.org/Post_Formats "Post Formats - WordPress") like photo, status update, etc. See [Matt Mullenweg’s site](http://ma.tt "Matt Mullenweg") for an example of how his posts are formatted, including galleries, photos, and status updates.
