Are you using Google Hangouts in your business? As Google Plus as officially launched Business Pages, I hope to see more businesses using Hangouts. I’ve been really considering how to use them, why to use them, and a variety of ways they could be best implemented. Here’s my list so far:
Internally:
- Team meetings for remote workers
- Conferencing staff located across a larger office
B2B
- Brainstorming and masterminding
- Introduction and networking opportunities
- Public Relations
B2C
- Customer service
- Research & Development
- Product demonstration
Short of screen-sharing, Google Plus Hangouts are looking more and more like a great zone between an in-person networking event and an online social networking solution. I am thrilled that video chats are being adopted more frequently.
